Sydney Olympic Football club would like to announce that today Jaime Monroy made the decision to resign from his position as Technical Director and First Grade Coach, effective immediately.

CEO, John Boulous, has expressed his disappointment with the decision, but maintains the club will remain focused as we move forward.

“The club is focused and committed on its vision and goals for the whole club along with its philosophy and principles and they remain as we set off at the start of the season,” said Boulous.

“We will move on strongly from this setback and unfortunate timing and continue what has been a great start to the year.”

First Grade Assistant Coach and Olympic native, Peter Zorbas, has been appointed as Interim Head Coach.

No time frame has been given for the appointment of a new coach.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our supporters and we hope you will stand by us as we continue our 2017 campaign in line with our philosophy and principles.
