Possibly the pin-up girl of the PlayStation4 NPL NSW competition, Remy Siemsen, will have the chance to take out the Championship trophy with her Manly United side on Sunday.

Her statistics speak for themselves, scoring more than a goal a game in any competition is a great feat and she done that this year, hitting the back of the net 22 times in 18 games!

This statistic is even more astonishing when you know that Siemsen is only 17 years old and currently sitting her HSC trial exams.

The young star debuted for Manly United’s first grade at only 14 years of age.

‘My first, first grade game was when I was 14, against the Northern Tigers.’

Manly has enjoyed its best ever season and Siemsen is over-joyed with how it has panned out thus far.

‘It has been an incredible season playing alongside and against such quality players.

The competition has been so competitive and exciting with so many quality teams and interesting score lines week in and week out.

Our Manly team have been outstanding this year because we have been focussed and determined to work hard for each other and to take out the Grand Final.’

As mentioned earlier, the robust striker has had a fine season but she credits other for her success.

‘I’ve really enjoyed my season with Manly and my team this year as well as working with great coaches who have helped me develop my game.

‘They have allowed me to play my style of game and do what I love most which is scoring goals and working hard for my teammates.’

The Westfield W-League NAB Young Football of the Year is a product of the Manly United youth program and commends the way players have come through the system.

‘Manly has an excellent youth program starting with SAP and a great club philosophy to develop and encourage young players to reach their potential.

‘They want players to enjoy playing the game whilst learning and engaging in a competition for themselves.’

Macarthur stands before Manly in the battle for the Premiership and Siemsen highlights the quality the Rams have across the park.

‘I have a great respect for Macarthur Rams as I have the privilege of playing alongside many of them in the Westfield W-League.

‘There are many dangerous players and key threats in that team with the likes of Sham Khamis, Leena Khamis, Lizzie Ralston, Teresa Polias, Kylie Ledbrook and Amy Harrison.

‘In saying that, I strongly believe our youthful, hungry and determined team can get the job done on Sunday.’

Siemsen has already set her expectations for the decider.

‘My expectations are that Manly will take out the Grand Final and play our style of football to top off a great season and achieve our ultimate goal of winning the league.

‘I’m really looking forward to an exciting game on Sunday.’
