Fiona Lang appointed Football NSW Director
Football NSW has announced the appointment of Fiona Lang as an official Board Director on a two-year term.
Fiona is the COO of BBC Studios, Australia and New Zealand, taking responsibility for business development and new business, strategy, operations, IT, legal & business affairs and key corporate / commercial deal negotiations. Fiona is a member of BBC’s Global Leadership Team.
Fiona is a non-executive director of UN Women National Committee and is on the advisory council of Friends of The Australian Ballet (marketing and events).
Fiona previously worked in corporate mergers and acquisitions at Herbert Smith Freehills and Gilbert + Tobin for over a decade where she advised international, ASX listed, private equity funds as well as private and government organisations in all sectors.
Fiona is engaged with community football, with her husband playing for Hurlstone Park FC and her two children playing at Balmain and District FC in the Canterbury District Soccer Football Association.
