TAFE NSW Summer Football figures peak at Blacktown
The signs are evident, TAFE NSW Summer Football is alive, well and certainly kicking goals at the Blacktown District Soccer Football Association precinct.
Blacktown Football Park has been the place to be for football lovers during summer with numbers spiking.
Blacktown District Soccer Football Association CEO Bill Kostandas has especially been happy with the level of interest Summer Football has attracted within the area.
“Blacktown Football Park Summer Sixes (BFP Summer Sixes) has been a great success this year.
“The team numbers have tripled this year in comparison to 2017 and I can safely say that the game is growing and blossoming.
“Next season the plan is to further grow the BFP Summer Sixes, specifically the female competition and also introducing a competition for Under 10 and Under 12 boys”.
