Parramatta FC Appoint New Coach in Gert Disha
Parramatta FC have today announced the appointment of Gert Disha as the 2020 first grade coach for the club.
Gert has extensive experience both as a player and a coach.
As a player he represented the Albanian National Youth Team, to which he then went to semi professional football where he played in Italy, the same place where he commenced his coaching career.
Disha juggled both coaching and playing whilst in Italy, where he was a part of the Youth program for 14 years as a coach.
Later residing in Australia, Disha was appointed the Rydalmere Lions Football Club Youth coach, later leaving to take up a position with Parramatta FC. In 2019 Disha was appointed the Under 20’s National Premier Leagues 3 NSW Men’s coach, leading his men into the finals series.
Disha is pleased with the new opportunity to progress at the club, taking on a new challenge in 2020 with the first grade men’s side.
