Powerchair Asia-Pacific Oceania Zone Championships set to kick off

The Quay Centre in Sydney Olympic Park will be hosting the 2019 Powerchair Asia-Pacific Oceania (APO) Zone Championships run by the Australian Powerchair Football Association (APFA) with first matches kicking off on the Wednesday 23rd of October.

Concluding on Friday 25th of October, the likes of our very own Australian team will participate alongside New Zealand and Japan while the Australian Under 21’s team will also feature in the tournament.

This event has been highlighted as a qualifier for the 2021 World Cup which will also be held in Sydney.

Wednesday 23rd October:

10.30am – 11.30am Australia v New Zealand
11.30am – 12.30pm Australia U21 v Japan
2.30pm – 3.30pm Australia v Australia U21
3.30pm – 4.30pm New Zealand v Japan

Thursday 24th October:

10.30am – 11.30am Australia U21 v New Zealand
11.30am – 12.30pm Game 6 -Australia v Japan
2.30pm – 3.30pm Game 7 – Australia v New Zealand
3.30pm – 4.30pm Game 8 – Australia U21 v Japan

Friday 25th October:

10.30am – 11.30am Game 9 – Australia U21 v Australia
11.30am – 12.30pm Game 10 – Japan v New Zealand
2.30pm – 3.30pm Game 11 – Australia v Japan
3.30pm – 4.30pm Game 12 – Australia U21 v New Zealand
