Football NSW Annual General Meeting and Director Elections
The Chairman and Board of Football NSW have announced that the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in respect of the 2019-20 financial year will be held on Friday, 19 March 2021 (6:30pm).
Given the social distancing measures currently in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the AGM is likely to be conducted virtually. This will be confirmed in due course and instructions on how to participate in the AGM will be circulated to Members as soon as practicable.
At the meeting, Members of Football NSW will be presented with the company’s financial results for the 2019-20 financial year while the terms of three Elected Directors will expire and Members will be asked to vote on candidates to fill those positions.
The Directors whose terms will expire at the AGM are Anter Isaac, James Chetcuti and Carlos Gonzalez.
The AGM will mark the end of Chairman Anter Isaac’s and James Chetcuti’s second consecutive terms as Elected Directors meaning both will not be eligible to re-stand for a further term. The AGM will also mark the end of Carlos Gonzalez’s first term as an Elected Director and Carlos remains eligible to stand for election for one further term.
A Notice of Meeting will be sent to Members of Football NSW in late February 2020.
Nominations are now open to nominate individuals to fill the three soon to be vacant Elected Director positions and the Nomination Form is available by clicking on this link – Football NSW Nomination for Director Form – March 2021
Please note that nominations close at 5:00pm on Thursday, 11 February 2021.
Any questions in relation to the AGM should be directed to Lorenzo Crepaldi (Head of Legal & Governance and Company Secretary) on lorenzoc@footballnsw.com.au.
