It was the Futsal mad suburb of Dural that played host to the recent Regional Schools Championships as the much-loved sport yet again gained centre stage as a high-quality action, suspense and excitement was witnessed by many who had the chance to visit the Dural Indoor Centre precinct.

As many as nine Finals took shape in what were great conditions for Futsal.

The Under 13 Girls category saw Queenwood defeat Excelsior Public School.

The Under 14s section saw the Ponds B Boys side bag the silverware while in the Girls, Pacific Hills Christian School proved too strong for Galton High School.

Great entertainment was on hand in the 16 Boys as Chatswood High School took out Central Coast Sports College while the Castle Hill High School in the Girls category defeated Cherrybrook Tech with minimal numbers in one of the shocks of the tournament.

The Open Boys was massive, four pools were evident with Central Coast Sports College taking home the prestigious medal over Epping Boys High School while Pacific Hills Christian School cruised through its competition defeating St Leos Catholic College in the Final.

Well done to all winning teams and participants and congrats to everyone that took part in this tournament.
