South Nowra Sporting Complex played host to the 2021 Country Cup combined Under 15 and Under 16’s tournament over the weekend.
Both age groups were combined due to the change of respective teams being able to compete.
After six matches across the two-day competition, Southern Tablelands coached by Robert Scott Snr came out on top to take out the coveted Championship while hosts Shoalhaven FA finished runners-up.
Football NSW Development Manager, Regional Football, Andrew Fearnley was delighted with how the two-day tournament unfolded.
“It is great to provide additional football opportunities for the older age players, and with some very competitive matches across the tournament.
“We look forward to being able to continue to provide football opportunities for regional players in the not-too-distant future but overall it was a well-played tournament by all our clubs and their participants.”
