Chris Gaitatzis appointed Gladesville Ryde Magic head coach
Plans for the 2025 season have already commenced for Football NSW League Two Men’s side Gladesville Ryde Magic following its appointment of former player Chris Gaitatzis as the new First Grade coach.
Retiring at the end of the 2024 season, Gaitatzis also kicked off his coaching journey as he ran the club’s successful youth program as the Co-Technical Director.
The 39-year-old was looking forward to the new adventure with the hope of steering the side to hopeful promotion in 2025.
“I am excited to have been appointed to the position,” Gaitatzis stated.

“Chris was a wonderful footballer who has been able to transfer his wealth of knowledge into coaching,” said Gladesville Ryde Magic Football Manager George Ganiatsas.
“We look forward to a successful future ahead with Chris at the helm.”
