AFC Level 1 Futsal Coaching Course Completed
14 coaches from Football NSW completed their AFC Futsal Level 1 Futsal Coaching Course under the tutelage of Australian men’s and women’s national futsal teams coach Miles Downie across two weekends at The Centre, Dural.
“The course was fantastic and the participants were fantastic, it was great to see the coaches engage and apply themselves in the sessions,” said Downie.
“It was also excellent to see coaches taking action in developing themselves, but also to become better coaches for our futsal players.
“This is a positive step into hosting more of these courses ang in alignment to our updated changes for the National Futsal Championships that will require all coaches to obtain a Level 1 accreditation.”
Football NSW will be looking to conduct a second Level 1 course later this year, as well as a Level 2 course to further upskill elite coaches.
