Manly Warringah Football Association (MWFA) will be well represented at this Sunday’s prestigious Football NSW State Cup Finals as many as ten teams from the proud region, more than any other association, will feature at Valentine Sports Park.

Four teams from Belrose Terrey Hills Raiders (13 Girls, 13 Boys, 17 Boys, 18 Mens), two from Collaroy Cromer Strikers (14 Girls, 21 Mens) while Seaforth FC (15 Girls), Forest Killarney (16 Boys), Wakehurst FC (U16 Girls) and Saint Augustine’s FC (18 Mens) will not only represent their clubs but their proud association.

“The State Cup is one of the most prestigious events on the Football NSW calendar, and every year we look forward to tracking how our teams progress in the competition,” said proud MWFA CEO Vicki Halpin.

“This year, we had 81 teams enter the State Cup, which demonstrates how important it is to our member clubs.

“As the CEO of MWFA I am extremely proud of our 2025 achievements.  It doesn’t matter if they win or lose, every team has excelled at the highest level to reach the finals.

“After having 9 finalists in both the 2023 and 2024 State Cup Finals, we are thrilled to improve on those numbers for this year. We wish all the best to our 10 finalists, and we look forward to seeing our supporters out in force at Valentine Sports Park on the day. Congratulations to Belrose-Terrey Hills Raiders on being the club with the most teams in the Finals.”

Asked what the secret was in having such a presence at highly renowned events such as the State Cup Finals Halpin stated.

“MWFA works collaboratively with all our clubs to develop our players and coaches, and these results are testament to our hard-working MWFA Board and Staff, and our clubs’ Coaches, Managers and Committee members. Football is the largest sport of any age on the Northern Beaches – we live and breathe it.”
