2026 Sapphire Cup Club Entries Now Open!
The road to Sapphire Cup glory starts now.
Club entries for the 2026 Sapphire Cup are officially open, with the state’s premier senior women’s knockout competition poised to reach even greater heights following a thrilling 2025 campaign.
Last season delivered unforgettable moments, with APIA Leichhardt FC crowned champions after a standout victory over Mount Druitt Town Rangers (now Western City Rangers) at Valentine Sports Park. Having also lifted the trophy in the competition’s inaugural year in 2023, APIA will be chasing history once again as they look to defend their crown in 2026.
Now it’s your club’s turn to step onto the knockout stage.
Clubs from the National Premier Leagues NSW Women’s and Football NSW League One competitions are invited to enter, alongside senior association women’s teams from across the state — creating a true statewide battle for silverware.
Football NSW Competitions Coordinator Debbie Abboud said the Sapphire Cup continues to grow in stature and importance.
“The Sapphire Cup is a fantastic showcase of women’s football in NSW, giving clubs from all levels the opportunity to compete in a high-quality knockout competition. We’re looking forward to seeing even more clubs take part and create unforgettable moments in 2026.”
