Round 6 Review – League Two Men’s
A mammoth 34 goals were scored in Round 6 of the 2026 Football NSW League Two Men’s competition, with statements made across the league.
The Match of the Round delivered one of those high-scoring encounters as Mounties Wanderers FC completed a remarkable comeback against Dunbar Rovers FC.

Match of the Round: Mounties Wanderers FC 3-2 Dunbar Rovers FC
Mounties Wanderers FC came from two goals down to complete a late comeback and defeat Dunbar Rovers FC 3-2 at home.
Dunbar defended strongly in the first half and took the lead in the 31st minute from a corner, with Reece Carr getting on the end of it to give the visitors a 1-0 lead at half-time.
Dunbar doubled their lead shortly after the restart in the 47th minute when Gianni Costantino finished from another set piece.
Mounties began to dominate possession following that goal as Dunbar dropped deeper in defence. The hosts pulled one back in the 62nd minute through Patrick Antelmi, who struck from outside the box to reduce the deficit.
In the 78th minute Mounties were awarded a penalty after a handball in the box. Antelmi stepped up and completed his double to level the match at 2-2.
Mounties then found the late winner in the 82nd minute when Rickson Odisho capitalised on a bouncing ball and finished well to secure the comeback victory.
The result saw Mounties bounce back from their previous defeat and move to five wins from six matches, while Dunbar suffered their fourth loss of the season.

Hawkesbury City FC 3-6 Inner West Hawks FC
A nine-goal thriller saw Inner West Hawks FC come from behind twice to defeat a 10-man Hawkesbury City FC away from home in the battle of the Hawks.
Hawkesbury opened the scoring in the 9th minute when Marc Zammit played a through ball to Marcus Dimitri, who finished calmly to give the hosts the early advantage.
The lead doubled in the 17th minute when Wade Giovenali set up Zammit, who slotted home to make it 2-0.
The match turned when Joshua Montgomery received a straight red card for a tackle inside the box. Peter Phillips converted the resulting penalty to make it 2-1.
Inner West equalised through a James Reed header in first-half stoppage time before Hawkesbury struck again moments later when Vincent Dermilio finished a Zammit through ball to make it 3-2 at the break.
Christopher Phillips levelled the match once more in the 52nd minute after a scramble in the box.
Hesan Soufi then proved decisive, scoring twice in the 64th and 75th minutes to give Inner West a 5-3 lead.
Tallon Zahra added another in the 77th minute to seal the 6-3 victory, while Soufi missed a late chance to complete his hat-trick from the penalty spot.

Fraser Park FC 0-1 Sydney University SFC
Sydney University SFC secured their first win and first clean sheet of the season with a 1-0 away victory over Fraser Park FC.
After creating several chances in the first half, University took the lead in the 43rd minute when Ko Tohara cut inside and finished from a tight angle.
Debutant goalkeeper Alejandro Bores produced a number of key saves to maintain the clean sheet.
University nearly added further goals late on, though Fraser Park cleared two attempts off the line.

Nepean FC 1-3 Parramatta FC
Parramatta FC claimed derby bragging rights with a 3-1 win over Nepean FC thanks to a hat-trick from Darragh Reynor.
Reynor opened the scoring in the 7th minute after a long throw was flicked on by Travis Oughtred.
He added a second in the 17th minute after good build-up play involving Matthew Ward and Omer Gebril.
Reynor completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot in the 38th minute after Jordan Parfait was fouled.
Parramatta were reduced to ten men just before half-time when goalkeeper Justin Biega was sent off.
Nepean pulled one back through Jamie Mccarlie in the 67th minute, and Parramatta were effectively reduced to nine men when Ward dislocated his shoulder with no substitutes remaining.
Despite the adversity, Parramatta held on to secure their fourth consecutive win.

South Coast Flame FC 1-1 Camden Tigers FC
Camden Tigers FC came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw away to South Coast Flame FC.
Thomas Dunn gave the Flame the lead in the 31st minute after meeting a cross from Adam Timpano-Voloder.
Camden equalised in the 55th minute when Avisai Vunisasaro finished from close range following a cross.
Both sides had chances late, but neither could find a winner.

Gladesville Ryde Magic 3-3 Central Coast United FC
A thrilling contest saw three lead changes before Gladesville Ryde Magic and Central Coast United FC settled for a 3-3 draw.
Stavros Palapanis opened the scoring for the Magic in the 35th minute before Jay Goodwin equalised two minutes later.
Central Coast then took the lead through Jekai Mead in the 39th minute.
Christopher Ganiatsas levelled the match before Palapanis scored again to give Gladesville another lead.
Goodwin completed his double in the 83rd minute to earn a point for the visitors.

Central Coast United FC 3 (Jay Goodwin 37’, 83’; Jekai Mead 39’)
Granville Rage 5-2 Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC
Granville Rage produced a strong comeback to defeat Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC 5-2.
Rhett Desilva opened the scoring in the 12th minute, though Daniel Bittar equalised for Bonnyrigg in the 26th minute.
Bittar added another before half-time to give the visitors the lead.
Granville responded after the break with a Timothy Borg-Williams penalty before Desilva scored again to restore their advantage.
Substitute Ante Tomic produced a spectacular goal from halfway before Jad Moussa sealed the victory late.
