“The outcomes outlined in this report don’t happen by chance. They reflect the dedication of our coaching and talent identification staff, who invest countless hours watching matches, engaging with clubs and creating genuine best-versus-best environments for our players. Our purpose is clear — not only to identify talent, but to prepare it.”

“This report highlights the detail, collaboration and consistency required to ensure no player goes unnoticed and to bridge the gap between NPL and national team football. We are proud of the impact this program continues to have across NSW and on the national stage.”

Philip Myall – Player Development Manager – Boys

Regional Player Development

“TSP in regional football is continually evolving and this report highlights the conscious effort to increase the match time that is provided for the regional players in a high-level environment through the TSP coaching group, and to also increase the challenge for the players involved.”

“The program has also continued to enable the identified players to then progress to compete against the TSP Metro Hubs and A League Academies in the Game days at VSP. The report highlights the various touchpoints across regional NSW for TSP to assist in driving regional footballers across both boys and girls to be challenged and able to be part of the greater football elite player pathway with opportunity to progress and be identified into National Youth Teams.”
