Round 15 marks the halfway point of the 2026 Football NSW League Two Men’s season, with the race for second tightening by the week and the runaway league leader edging ever closer to promotion glory.

Match of the Round: Dunbar Rovers FC vs Fraser Park FC

Saturday, 16 May 2026 – 7pm, Rockdale Ilinden Sports Centre

A big clash in the battle for 2nd sees two teams looking to snap a two-match winless run when 7th-placed Dunbar Rovers FC host a side they did the league double over last season, 2nd-placed Fraser Park FC.

Dunbar suffered back-to-back losses following their 1-0 defeat away to Bankstown United FC and will hope to find more inspiration going forward having been held scoreless for the first time since Round 3 last week.

Fraser Park, meanwhile, played out a scoreless draw for a second-straight week and will hope to continue to defend well, having a league-best 11 goals conceded from 13 matches, but will also look to sharpen in attack, one eye also set on the Australia Cup draw on Friday.

With the ladder tighter than ever, shown by just three points separating these two sides, both teams will hope to grab a win to end the first half of the season as high up the ladder as they can.

Bankstown United FC vs Hawkesbury City FC

Saturday, 16 May 2026 – 5pm, Padstow Park

9th-placed Bankstown United FC will hope to win a third-straight match to continue their march up the ladder against a side they have historically performed well against in Hawkesbury City FC.

12th-placed Hawkesbury, meanwhile, will hope to respond from their last-start loss and, despite having only one win from their past six head-to-head matches against Bankstown, it was the most recent match they faced off in – a 1-0 win away to Bankstown.

Granville Rage vs Nepean FC

Saturday, 16 May – 5:30pm, Garside Park

6th-placed Granville Rage will hope to take western Sydney derby honours once again against a side they did the league double over in the 2025 season, Nepean FC, hunting down back-to-back wins for the first time since Round 6.

11th-placed Nepean FC, meanwhile, will hope to snap an eight-match winless run in the league, looking to 20-year-old Toby Witjes to lead the line, having scored 10 goals this season so far.

3rd-placed Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC have shared the goals among their squad and will hope to extend their four-match winning streak this week but will have their work cut out for them against one of the league’s other most in-form sides.

8th-placed Sydney University SFC come into this match off a three-match winning streak and following their bye in Round 14 will be refreshed and ready to take on Bonnyrigg, the students looking to lead from the back with the 4th-best defence in the league.

5th-placed South Coast Flame FC will hope to do what only one side has managed to do in the first half of the season and defeat Mounties Wanderers FC, hunting a win which could put them in 2nd-place at the halfway point of the competition.

League-leading Mounties, meanwhile, continued to extend their margin atop the ladder, now at 14 points, with a third-straight clean sheet in their most recent win and will hope to end the first half of the season as many as 17 points ahead of their nearest challenger.
