EOI – Futsal Technical Lead – NFC State Team Program

Football NSW is seeking additional support through the appointment of Technical Leads to assist with our NFC Futsal State Team program. Football NSW is looking to engage expertise to contribute further resources, knowledge, and leadership to our state team program.

This role is designed to further support the development of our NSW players and coaches at the national level.

These positions are important in applying our futsal expertise and knowledge to our members at the NFC event.

By implementing these roles, Football NSW will be able to provide NSW players and coaches with greater clarity, focus, and attention to specific age categories, ensuring stronger objectives and improved development outcomes.

Criteria / Responsibilities

  1. Coaches will be required to hold a minimum of a valid AFC Level 2 Futsal Licence, or have expressed interest / registered to attend the AFC Level 2 Course.
  2. Positions available: Junior Category (U12s, U13s, U14s), Youth Category (U15s, U16s, U17s).
  3. Responsible for overseeing the delivery and operations of the Junior and Youth categories at NFC 2027.
  4. Prepare reports as required and complete tasks set by both the FNSW Futsal Technical Director and Futsal Manager.
  5. Demonstrate values and behaviours aligned with Football NSW and the NFC Futsal State Team program.
  6. Commitment to evidence-based decision making and strong problem-solving ability.
  7. Demonstrated communication, organisation, leadership, technical education, and ability to manage and mentor both players and coaching staff.
  8. Previous experience coaching within elite football and futsal player development programs.
  9. Coaches must obtain a current Working With Children Check (Employee status). Successful applicants will be working with children under the age of 18.
