Round 12 in the Futsal Premier League 2 Open Women’s competition is another intriguing weekend of action as we hurtle towards finals football. We have three games to run the rule over on Saturday including games which can affect the top four. Let’s get onto the preview.

Macarthur Quake Futsal Club face off against SD Raiders Futsal at Minto Indoor Sports Centre on Saturday afternoon.

The Quake added another point to their tally in a 2-2 draw against West City Crusaders last weekend.

It is a result which takes them off the bottom of the Futsal Premier League 2 Open Women’s ladder.

Dana Buttigieg was one of their goal scorers in the stalemate and she looks to find the back of the net again.

SD Raiders Futsal suffered their first loss in a 4-2 defeat against Sydney Futsal Club at home last Saturday.

Now their undefeated season has been halted, SD Raiders Futsal will be full steam ahead with another step towards the title.

Both Abigail Boag and Jessica Neville have double figure goals this season and look ready to add to their tallies.

The hosts had an entertaining 4-3 win against APIA FC Futsal at Valentine Sports Park last weekend.

Angelina Powell fired home a brace in the game including the winner and she looks to be involved again on Saturday.

Raiders Futsal Club won the first game 9-3 against Phoenix Futsal Club so they will want to sweep the season series.

Phoenix Futsal Club get back on the pitch after taking Round 11 off due to being the odd team out and having the bye.

While it has been a tough season for Phoenix Futsal Club, they have introduced some young talent into young keeper Mia Stedman.

The visitors look to play spoiler for the last three games and get themselves off the bottom of the ladder.

Sydney Futsal Club vs West City Crusaders, Saturday 23 November, 3pm, NC of Indigenous Excellence

Sydney Futsal Club hosts West City Crusaders down at NC of Indigenous Excellence on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts will be buoyed by their 4-2 win against previously unbeaten SD Raiders Futsal at Thomas Hassell Anglican College.

Mya Callil is a livewire in attack for Sydney Futsal Club and she will be central to their attack again on Saturday.

Sydney Futsal Club will be glad to be back at home after a month of away games and finish the season strong and cement a top two spot.

The Crusaders were pegged back late for a 2-2 draw against Macarthur Quake Futsal Club last weekend.
