Round 10 Preview – League One Women’s
Round 10 in the Football NSW League One Women’s competition shapes as another thrilling weekend of action in a tightly contested season.
There are six games to enjoy, headlined by St George FC and Inter Lions FC in the Match of the Round on Sunday.
Let’s get into the preview.
Match of the Round: St George FC vs Inter Lions FC
Sunday, May 3, 4:30pm – Barton Park
St George FC take on Inter Lions FC at Barton Park on Sunday afternoon.
The Saints were beaten 3-1 by local rivals Sutherland Strikers FC in their trip to Harrie Denning Centre. It has been a tough run for St George, but Aya Seino has been a standout, scoring five goals so far in 2026.
Defensively, Alice Bowles has stepped in well and gone about her work with composure and consistency.
Inter Lions FC showed resilience despite their 5-0 defeat to high-flying SD Raiders FC in last week’s Match of the Round. A bright spot was the work of Ava Papangelis out wide, whose link-up play with Cate Gyzen created their best opportunities.
Alongside her, Heba El Saddik worked tirelessly throughout and continues to lead the Lions’ attacking efforts.
This game will be streamed live on the Football NSW YouTube channel, with Daniel Gaulterio on commentary.
South Coast Flame FC vs Nepean FC

South Coast Flame FC host Nepean FC on Saturday night.
The Flame come into this clash off a 5-3 win over Central Coast Mariners FC at Pluim Park. Shaylee Meehan starred with a hat-trick, underlining her goalscoring threat, while the versatile Sariah Wilson also found the net and has impressed further up the field this season.
Nepean FC were held to a 2-2 draw against Camden Tigers FC in a physical contest at Jamison Park Field 1. Paris Staal scored twice, providing a strong attacking presence and helping Nepean push back into the top four.
A win in Kembla Grange would mark another statement for a side that has been one of the surprise packets of the opening 10 rounds.

SD Raiders FC face Sutherland Strikers FC on Sunday afternoon.

Winger Elena Topalidis has been in strong form this season and continues to be a valuable asset for the Raiders.
Sutherland Strikers FC claimed a 3-1 derby win over St George FC last weekend. Attacker Paola Andrea Giraldo Uribe scored her third goal of the season and will be eager to add to her tally.

Blacktown City FC take on Camden Tigers FC on Sunday afternoon.
The hosts come into this match refreshed after the bye in Round 9. Their last outing was a 1-1 draw with Sutherland Strikers FC, a result they will look to build on.
Molly Reckless scored from a corner in that match, and alongside the consistent Nicola Ciccoia, will be key for the home side.
Camden Tigers FC earned a point in a dramatic 2-2 draw with Nepean FC last weekend. Young talent Eliza Pereira continues to impress, scoring another standout goal and adding to her growing highlight reel.
Ashlee Taff made her second appearance of the season and brings valuable experience as the Tigers chase three points.

Marconi Stallions FC arrive after a commanding 5-0 victory over Bankstown City Lions FC. Charmaine Marquinez scored her first goal of the season in a dominant first-half display and continues to be a consistent performer.
