Round 21 Review – League Two Men’s
Another unpredictable weekend saw more shock results as the ladder continued to tighten following Round 21 of the 2026 Football NSW League Two Men’s season.
The Match of the Round this week saw a hat-trick hero for Granville Rage against fellow promotion-hopefuls in Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC.
Match of the Round: Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC 2-3 Granville Rage
A hat-trick hero in a wet and wild match saw Granville Rage hold on to a 3-2 away win over Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC in their hunt for promotion.
The Rage found the back of the net five minutes out from the end of the first half through Charles Eriku to break the deadlock for a 1-0 lead.
Eriku was at the double for the Rage on the stroke of half-time to give the visitors a 2-0 lead heading into the break.
Granville’s number nine completed his hat-trick from kick-off, slotting the ball home to secure the match ball and also give Granville a 3-0 lead.
Bonnyrigg fought back with a goal in the 72nd minute for Daniel Bittar as the hosts looked to work themselves back into the match late.
The White Eagles left their comeback too late, however, with their second and final goal in the match coming from former Rage player Aamir Kadric in the second minute of stoppage time.
In the end, Granville held on for a big win for their promotion hopes, coming away with a 3-2 away win over Bonnyrigg.
The loss for Bonnyrigg saw them drop from 5th to 6th on 29 points, four points behind 2nd-placed Parramatta FC, while the win for Granville saw them rise from 9th to 8th on 28 points, five points behind Parramatta FC.

Parramatta FC 3-1 Nepean FC
Parramatta FC responded to back-to-back losses in style with a comeback 3-1 win over western Sydney rivals Parramatta FC to extend their advantage in 2nd.
Nepean capitalised off a turnover and ball forward in the 24th minute, Luke Durham getting on the end of the opportunity and slotting the ball home to give Nepean a 1-0 lead.
Parramatta had an immediate response from kick-off with Declan Reynor finding Ethan Oliver with a long ball, who in turn squared the ball to Jethro Thornton to level the match at 1-1.
Jordan Parfait got on the end of a Marco Sama long ball and slotted the ball home to give Parramatta a 2-1 lead, before the Eagles wrapped up the match in the 72nd minute when Ethan Oliver headed home from a corner.
The win for Parramatta saw them extend their lead in 2nd to three points over the chasing pack on 33 points, while the loss for Nepean saw them drop from 6th to 10th on 27 points.

Central Coast United FC 4-1 Gladesville Ryde Magic
Central Coast United FC won a fifth-straight match and went nine matches unbeaten after a 4-1 home win over Gladesville Ryde Magic in another boost to their playoff hopes.
The hosts opened the scoring in the 22nd minute when Matthew Kairouz found Matthew Hatch, who in turn found Zac Pezzutto in the box; he scored from close range to give Central Coast United a 1-0 lead.
Cade Mapu got on the end of a one-two pass with Jay Goodwin and scored for a 2-0 Pirates lead in the 37th minute before Kirby Wilding finished off a counter started by Jay Swadling and Mapu in the 69th minute for a 3-0 lead.
Matthew Hatch scored in the 83rd minute off a cross-turned-shot for Central Coast’s fourth before a consolation goal in stoppage time for Stefan Baker ensured Gladesville got on the scoresheet, Central Coast running out 4-1 winners.
The win for Central Coast saw them rise from 8th to 7th on 29 points, four behind 2nd-placed Parramatta FC, while the loss for Gladesville saw them drop from 10th to 11th on 25 points.

Sydney University SFC 2-0 Fraser Park FC
Sydney University SFC snapped a three-match winless run in style with a 2-0 home win over Fraser Park FC to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Fraser Park created opportunities in the first half with shots from Mason Fernandez, Colin Callil and George Grillakis all saved by University goalkeeper Alejandro Briones.
Sydney University broke the deadlock late in the 80th minute when Freddie Clunas crossed the ball into the box for Ko Tohara, who got in-between the defence and goalkeeper to head the ball home for a 1-0 lead.
University secured the 2-9 win in the third minute of stoppage time when Charles Hely-Hammond finished off a counterattack with Fraser Park committing bodies forward late.
The win for University saw them rise from 11th to 9th on 27 points, six points behind 2nd-placed Parramatta FC, while the loss for Fraser Park saw them remain in 3rd on 30 points, now three points behind Parramatta.

Inner West Hawks FC 0-2 Hawkesbury City FC
Hawkesbury City FC got revenge in the battle of the hawks to give their playoff chances another boost following a 2-0 away win.
Hawkesbury opened the scoring in the 53rd minute from a goalkeeper to attack move, the ball going from Jai Whitton, to Tobias Elliott-Orr, then to Wade Giovenali and finally to Harry Drew, who slotted the ball home for a 1-0 lead.
Hawkesbury had more chances to score in the second half, while Inner West looked dangerous on the counter without finding the back of the net.
Hawke’s wrapped up the 2-0 win in the second minute of stoppage time when Vincent Dermilio cut inside from the right and played a ball to Drew, who scored to secure the three points for the visitors.
The loss for Inner West saw them remain in 13th on 22 points, while the win for Hawkesbury saw them rise from 7th to 5th on 30 points, three points behind 2nd-placed Parramatta FC.

Hawkesbury City FC 2 (Harry Drew 53’, 90+2’)
Dunbar Rovers FC 1-1 Mounties Wanderers FC
Dunbar Rovers FC became just the fourth side to take points off Mounties Wanderers FC this season, the two sides fighting hard in a 1-1 draw.
Mounties found the early breakthrough in the 10th minute through Patrick Antelmi, who continued his fight for the golden boot with his 22 goal of the season to give the visitors a 1-0 lead.
Dunbar fought back and countered in the 39th minute through Kosei Fukuyoshi, who scored to level the match at 1-1.
Mounties attacked hard looking for a winner in the second half but Dunbar defended resiliently to hold them out, the two teams settling for a point each in a 1-1 draw.
The draw for Dunbar saw them remain in 4th on 30 points, three points behind 2nd-placed Parramatta FC, while the draw for Mounties moved them to 50 points for the season and saw their lead atop the ladder sit at 17 points.

Camden Tigers FC 1-1 South Coast Flame FC
A fiery encounter saw late drama as Camden Tigers FC came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with South Coast Flame FC.
After a goalless first half, Jordan Roberts broke the deadlock in the 75th minute for the Flame to put them ahead 1-0.
Camden fought back late and found the equaliser in the 85th minute through Ramiro Soto to set up a tense finish.
Tempers flared late with Flame coach Fabian Cappetta sent off in stoppage time, with Camden and South Coast settling for a point each in a 1-1 draw.
The draw for Camden was their third in a row and saw them earn their ninth point of the season in last place, while the draw for the Flame saw them remain in 12th on 24 points.
