In addition to a home ground for match days, Hooka Creek Park also provides the WCFC players with a stable training facility which has hindered the players? preparations so far this season.
This announcement ends weeks of turmoil for players, coaching staff, and officials alike following the now well-publicized Black Beetle infestation that effectively rendered Crehan Park unavailable.
WCFC would like to thank Wollongong United for making their ground available and would also like to acknowledge the assistance and co-operation of Cringila Lions Football Club, Illawarra Stingrays, the Illawarra Football Association (IFA), Thirroul Thunder Football Club, Bulli Showground, Thirroul Thunderbirds and the Fraternity Club and Football NSW as WCFC?s nomadic existence created a logistical nightmare for all involved.
WCFC?s next home game will be played this Sunday 3rd May 2009 against the West Sydney Berries in what is shaping up as a big match in terms of WCFC?s position on the league ladder.
First grade kicks off at 3:00pm, preceded by the Under 20?s at 12:30pm and the Under 18?s at 10:30am.

Future WCFC matches that will now be played at Hooka Creek Park include :
1. Sydney Tigers ? 17th May
2. Bankstown City ? 24th May
3. Sydney Olympic ? 14th June
4. Penrith Nepean United ? 28th June
5. Manly United FC ? 12th July; and
6. Blacktown City Demons ? 2nd August

WCFC will be holding its inaugural fundraising dinner on Friday 8th May at the City Beach Function Centre (please refer to attachment included in email). On the night, the major sponsorship (front of shirt) as well as the minor sponsorship (back of shirt) will be up for auction with NO reserve price being set.
The successful bidders will become the clubs sponsors main sponsors for the remainder of the 2009 NSW TeleChoice Premier League season and may just walkout of the City Beach Function Centre with the buy of the year.
