The Youth League Report (Division One Youth League) Round 10

This week we will have look at the impact those results had and a close look at each of the competition tables.
Club Championship
Fraser Park have a handy lead of twelve points on this table over Sydney University who are ten points clear of third placed Camden Tigers. Mt Druitt Town Rangers are six points behind the Tigers and three points ahead of fifth placed Rockdale City Suns.
Then there is a gap of eight points to sixth placed Hurstville City Minotaurs and then one more point to St George who split the points at seven apiece in Saturday?s clash. The Saints are two points ahead of eighth placed Hakoah who are five points clear of Stanmore Hawks.
Gladesville Ryde Magic are nine points further back at tenth and they are seven points clear of Springwood who are only two points ahead of twelfth placed Hills Brumbies.
Grade 13
It may be difficult to catch the competition leaders but it certainly not impossible. However, most of the real interest for the moment will centre on the fact that there are only four points separating second spot from seventh. That means that the slightest slip-up can be very costly indeed.
Fraser Park have established a very handy lead of six points at the top of the table over Rockdale City Suns who are one point ahead of third placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers.
Two points further back are Hills Brumbies, Camden Tigers and Sydney University whose positions have been determined by goal difference and they are one point in front of Hurstville City Minotaurs.
St George are a point astern of the Minotaurs following their 3-0 win over the Brumbies and then there is a gap of three points to ninth placed Springwood who have and advantage of three points over Hakoah.
Gladesville Ryde Magic are three points further back and they are two points ahead of twelfth placed Stanmore Hawks.
Grade 14
Fraser Park are the competition leaders by a margin of two points over Camden Tigers who are four points ahead of third placed Sydney University while Stanmore Hawks and Hakoah are one point behind Uni and only separated by goal difference.
Then Hurstville City Minotaurs are a point further back and they have been joined by St George following their 2-2 draw with Hills Brumbies on Saturday. Only one point further back are Rockdale City Suns and Mt Druitt Town Rangers with their positions being decided on goal difference.
Gladesville Ryde Magic and Springwood are also locked together six points further adrift and then there is another gap of six points to twelfth placed Hills Brumbies.
Grade 15
With only seven points separating the top five teams anything could happen and it possibly will while there is still plenty of hope for those teams outside the top five as they strive to reach a place in the finals series.
Undefeated Fraser Park have a competition lead of two points over Rockdale City Suns who are two points better off than third placed Hurstville City Minotaurs while Stanmore Hawks are two points further back at fourth.
Fifth placed Camden Tigers are only a point behind the Hawks and they are five points ahead of Sydney University who have an advantage of one point over Mt Druitt Town Rangers and Springwood.
Gladesville Ryde Magic are one point behind those two at ninth and Hakoah are a point further back. Hills Brumbies remained at eleventh after they posted their first win for the season with a 1-0 result over twelfth placed St George.
Grade 16
With only eight points separating the top eight teams this competition is still wide open as a great many things can happen over the next few weeks so there is bound to be a great deal of interest in every single result.
Sydney University now one point clear at the top of the table after St George shot from fourth to second with a 6-0 victory over Hills Brumbies while Hakoah and Fraser Park are three points further back and only separated by goal difference.
Stanmore Hawks and Hurstville City Minotaurs are two points behind that pair with their places being decided by goal difference while Camden Tigers and Mt Druitt Town Rangers are also locked together.
Gladesville Ryde Magic and Rockdale City Suns are only one point further back and then there is a gap of seven points to eleventh placed Springwood and a further three points to Hills Brumbies.
Grade 18
The top two teams have established a bit of a break but then the next six teams are covered by only five points so there is still plenty to play for over the coming weeks.
Sydney University are the only team in the three divisions of Youth League football to still have a perfect record and they have a very hand lead of six points at the top of the table over Mt Druitt Town Rangers and they are three points ahead of Camden Tigers and Fraser Park who are divided by goal difference.
Gladesville Ryde Magic are four points further back at fifth and they are one point better off than Hakoah, St George and Hills Brumbies who downed the Saints by the odd goal in five on Saturday.
Rockdale City Suns and Springwood are six points further adrift and they are a point in front of Stanmore Hawks who have an advantage of five points over Hurstville City Minotaurs
