Chris Price delighted with Sutherland Sharks’ season thus far

Ironically against the Sharks, but is a qualified Primary School Teacher too: ?I?m back at Uni this year doing a course to give me better qualifications and after football I can see my career heading in this direction at the moment but who knows??
His preferred position is as left-back but he has graced the field in the left-midfield role for the Sharks this season but doesn?t like being called a utility man: ?Like most players I just want to be playing so if I?m needed anywhere on the pitch I will give it a go but my choice would be as a left-back.
?I?ve struck up a good relationship with Jabba (Neil Jablonski) and Boardo (Brad Boardman) and hopefully I?m improving with each game.
?I?ve represented NSW at schoolboy and State levels (U/15-16s) and like most players I would love a shot at A-League football and see how far I can go in the game.?
Just to show how this lad has kept his feet on the ground you only need ask how he feels his season has gone to date since joining the Sharks: ?I would say it has been a bit up and down as I?ve had to learn a new system under a new coach and with new players but I think I?ve done OK,? he says which to anyone who has seen his displays this term would have to agree is an understatement after filling in for the injured Ben Spruce. It?s fair to say that Price has not always received the plaudits his efforts have deserved so far this campaign
As usual you have to ask who is the joker in the side or what has been the funniest thing they?ve seen this year and for once it isn?t anything to do with George Souris, whom Price rates very highly as a team mate, but comes in the form of Michael Katz, his right-back colleague: ?It was on a night out and to watch him dance was hilarious.
?He seems to mix every dancing genre at the same time so it?s impossible to say which one it is but it?s fun to watch.?
So from dancing around the opposition, with some aplomb, Katzy is reduced to being (allegedly) a Techno disaster likened somewhat to a Disco Duck but at the end of the day it shows the camaraderie built at the club although things may not be so cordial in the dressing rooms when this gets out?
Mind you, Pricey can always order the naughty boys to stand in the corner or threaten them with detention.
