Football Stars of Tomorrow Episode Four

In episode four, Football Stars of Tomorrow revisits England to chat with Australian and Blackburn Rovers livewire star Brett Emerton about the Socceroos, life in England and his recovery from knee surgery.
The right-winger who is also known to be a very versatile player has been known for his quick, direct and aggressive style of play which has seen him play overseas football for the past nine years with the Rovers and also Dutch giants Feyenoord. A product of the Macarthur Association, Emerton?s Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce was full of praise for the Socceroo who cannot wait to commence the 2009/2010 English Premier League season.
This week?s celebrity shoot-out sees the crew from Football Stars of Tomorrow team up with former Rugby Union star international Phil Kearns. He is a former Australian Rugby Union captain and represented the Wallabies 67 times. Kearns is also connected to the Cancer Institution with part of the money raised in the celebrity shoot-out going towards this special cause.
The ?One to Watch? segment features a special segment on Sydney FC?s rising youngster Kofi Danning. The 18-year-old was born in Ghana before coming to Australia where he called home after he was snapped up by the AIS and also represented the Australian Under 20?s side. Scoring an incredible 40 goals in one season for the Deacon Club in the ACT, Danning was instrumental in Sydney FC?s NYL Grand Final victory last year. Seen as a future prospect for Sydney FC, Danning has already exploded into the senior squad and will look towards flourishing in season 2009 under Czech coach Vitezslav Lavicka.
Football Stars of Tomorrow also visits Hurlstone Park Wanderers Club official Lyn Bajic as this week?s Star of the Week. Lyn has spent 34 years in the club canteen and has only missed an incredible 2 weekends in her 34 solid seasons due to illness which exemplifies the long serving club official?s passion for the game.
?Coaches Corner?, hosted by FNSW High Performance Manager Paul Bentvelzen, this week sees AIS and Young Socceroos coach Jan Versleijen demonstrate some new skills and activities to improve your game.
?Goals for Grassroots? this week visits Western Australian side Balcatta Club who are 32-years-old and have 35 teams located in central Perth. Club President Pat Luca has seen a number of shining stars pass through the ranks with two in particular, Adrian Madaschi (Portosummaga) and Richard Garcia (Hull City) both playing their junior football at Balcatta were on hand for the presentation of the. $1,000 cheque courtesy of Hyundai for its efforts towards grassroots football.
?Goals of the Week? continues its outstanding serve of magnificent goals with three entries coming from the Roseland Raptors, Nelson Bay and Blacktown City this week.
