Super Youth League Round 10 Review

Only a few teams have played the full ration of matches and others have as many as three matches to catch up so it may be some time before the tables actually look they way they are supposed to be at this time of the season. As these matches are played we can expect to see a great many changes in the structure of each of the tables and it is worth mentioning that catch-up matches frequently produce ?surprise? results.
Club Championship
Spirit FC are at the top of this table by a margin of twenty points after they took ten points from their home games against ninth placed Dulwich Hill while second placed Western NSW Panthers earned nine points when they hosted tenth placed Mounties Wanderers.
Third placed Sydney University split the points at seven apiece when they visited eleventh placed West Sydney Berries and in Round 6 catch-up action University took ten points from twelfth placed Northern Tigers who had the bye this weekend.
Macarthur Rams are fourth after they shared the spoils at seven each with seventh placed Granville Rage.
Central Coast are placed fifth thanks to their best day of the season, a haul of fifteen points from their trip to thirteenth placed Schofields Scorpions while Blacktown Spartans are sixth after they journeyed to eighth placed Fraser Park and came home with a dozen points, the best outcome for the Spartans since the opening day of the season.
In Round 9 catch-up action on Sunday Dulwich Hill took seven points and Fraser Park earned four points from the four matches played.
Grade 13
Central Coast are sitting at the top of the table after taking maximum points from their seven matches including their 2-1 victory over sixth placed Schofields Scorpions while Macarthur Rams are second thanks to their 1-0 success over Granville Rage who are placed twelfth.
Spirit FC are in third position following their 4-1 win over tenth placed Dulwich Hill and fourth placed Western NSW Panthers edged out Mounties Wanderers with a 1-0 scoreline thanks to a strike from Kaiden Connor.
Fifth placed Blacktown Spartans were 6-1 winners when they faced fourteenth placed Fraser Park while Sydney University had a scoreless draw with eleventh placed West Sydney Berries and in a Round 6 catch-up match Uni battled out a scoreless draw with thirteenth placed Northern Tigers.
In Round 9 catch-up action on Sunday Dulwich Hill defeated Fraser Park by the odd goal in five.
Grade 14
Unbeaten Spirit FC are the frontrunners on the competition table after they were held to a scoreless draw by fifth placed Dulwich Hill while second placed Fraser Park suffered their first loss, a 3-2 result when they met eighth placed Blacktown Spartans.
Sydney University are in third position following their 4-2 win over twelfth placed West Sydney Berries and a 3-0 success in their Round 6 catch-up match against eleventh placed Northern Tigers.
Fourth placed Western NSW Panthers went down 3-1 when they faced Mounties Wanderers who are tenth (the scorer for the Panthers was Lachlan Thomas) while Central Coast are sixth after they were 4-3 winners over thirteenth placed Schofields Scorpions and Macarthur Rams are seventh following their 1-1 draw with ninth placed Granville Rage.
In Round 9 catch-up action on Sunday Dulwich Hill defeated Fraser Park with a 3-0 scoreline.
Grade 15
Blacktown Spartans are the goal difference leaders on this table after they accounted for twelfth placed Fraser Park with a 2-1 scoreline while Spirit FC are second following their 4-1 loss to sixth placed Dulwich Hill.
Western NSW Panthers are third following their 2-0 loss to Mounties Wanderers who are fifth and Sydney University are in fourth position after they lost 1-0 to tenth placed West Sydney Berries and defeated seventh placed Northern Tigers in a Round 6 catch-up match.
Macarthur Rams are eighth thanks to their 3-1 victory over Granville Rage who are eleventh and ninth placed Central Coast downed thirteenth placed Schofields Scorpions with a 3-0 scoreline.
Grade 16
Spirit FC have the lead on this table on goal difference after they shaded ninth placed Dulwich Hill with a 1-0 scoreline and Sydney University are in second spot following their 3-1 win over fourth placed West Sydney Berries and a 1-0 victory over eleventh placed Northern Tigers in Round 6 catch-up action.
Third placed Western NSW Panthers accounted for twelfth placed Mounties Wanderers with a 3-0 result with the goals coming from Matt Corben, Jack Jones and Kenny McCall while Granville Rage are fifth following their 3-0 victory over seventh placed Macarthur Rams.
Fraser Park are in sixth spot after they lost 1-0 to eighth placed Blacktown Spartans while Central Coast are tenth following their dazzling 7-0 success over Schofields Scorpions who are thirteenth.
In Round 9 catch-up action on Sunday Dulwich Hill and Fraser Park battled out a scoreless draw.
Grade 18
Granville Rage retained their unbeaten status and the lead on this table after they were 2-0 winners when they met seventh placed Macarthur Rams and Spirit FC are second following their very strong 6-1 victory over twelfth placed Dulwich Hill.
Third placed Northern Tigers had the bye on Saturday but in Round 6 catch-up action they defeated ninth placed Sydney University 5-2. Uni lost 4-0 when they faced sixth placed West Sydney Berries on Saturday.
Fraser Park are fourth following their 1-0 win over eleventh placed Blacktown Spartans while Western NSW Panthers are placed fifth after they were 2-0 winners over Mounties Wanderers who are eighth with the Panthers? goals coming from Jacob Harris and Alec Bateson while tenth placed Central Coast produced a 2-0 success over thirteenth placed Schofields Scorpions.
In Round 9 catch-up action on Sunday Fraser Park defeated Dulwich Hill by a 3-0 scoreline.
