Oscar Gonzalez appointed Football NSW Coach Education Manager

Gonzalez brings a wealth of coaching experience to Football NSW ever since his early beginnings at the organisation in 1989 as he currently holds an A Licence, FIFA Futuro Instructor certificate as well as being an advanced and Community Licence presenter and assessor. Gonzalez also has a Bachelor of Sports Science and is in his final semester of doing his Masters in Coach Education.
Football NSW CEO Eddie Moore has seen the appointment of Gonzalez as a positive step towards consolidating the importance of the roles coaches play in our game.

Gonzalez, who has been involved in the coaching circles for the past twenty three years will be working in a number of key areas such as increasing accessibility of coaching education courses as well as increasing the standard of delivery and modifying behaviours of coaches during games.
He will also be identifying the next generation of coaching instructors, using the latest technology to improve the dissemination of information, and working to establish Australia?s leading coaching education network at Football NSW.
