Over 200 enthusiastic students with a passion for football from Villawood’s East Public School enjoyed a special Football NSW and Macquarie Bank Football Schools Clinic on Wednesday.

Students were put through a mixture of skills and games as all pupils thoroughly enjoyed what was a great day with the world game taking over the Primary School that also featured former Matildas star and Sydney FC’s W-League recruit Renee Rollason.

After visiting a couple of schools in recent weeks in regional areas, Rollason was pleased with the continual promotion of the sport to students across NSW.

“These football clinics put on for schools have been really enjoyable and have played a key role in promoting our sport.

“Students from the Villawood East Public School were a real energetic group and you could tell from the get go how much they enjoyed the clinic.”
