Football NSW to be represented at 2019 NSW Sports Awards
Football NSW has been nominated in the ‘Organisation of the Year’ amongst a number of other categories as the NSW Sports Awards finalists were announced.
Along with the nomination for ‘Organisation of the Year’, Football NSW’s long serving Risk Manager and State Member Protection Officer Michelle Hanley was announced as a nominee in the ‘Administrator of the Year’ award.
The victorious NSW Cerebral Palsy Football team will also be on the hunt of scooping an award as the team was nominated in the ‘Team of the Year with a Disability’ award.
Following on with the football theme, Sydney FC’s Championship winning W-League side will hope they can land the ‘Team of the Year’ award while Sky Blues head coach Steve Corica has one himself an entry in the ‘Coach of the Year’ award.
Across 13 categories, the finalists comprise outstanding NSW athletes, coaches, officials, administrators and organisations from a broad cross section of the NSW Sports Sector, with successes and achievements both within Australia and on the world stage.
The winners of the NSW Sports Awards will be announced at the NSW Champions of Sport Ceremony to be held at The Star Sydney on Monday, 18 November.
