Albury Wodonga FA at the Deploy Association Championships

55 match officials from 17 referee branches across NSW came together in Mudgee for the inaugural Deploy Football NSW Association Championships last month. Supported by 11 referee coaches, officials took part in dedicated training and development sessions before receiving ongoing mentoring, feedback and match experience throughout the three-day tournament. Referee development at the Deploy Association Championships

Every Beat Matters ❤️ In March 2024, 34-year-old Penrith FC President Lauren Gibson suffered a sudden cardiac arrest during a Nepean Football Association meeting. Nepean FC Competition Manager Cheryl Lynch was there that night and recalls how immediate CPR and access to a defibrillator helped save Lauren’s life. Lauren has since returned to football and was named the 2025 Football NSW Female Volunteer of the Year, with her story serving as a powerful reminder of why access to defibrillators and the confidence to use them is so important across our football community.
