Round 17 Preview – League Two Men’s
The Football NSW League Two Men’s competition continues to deliver in 2026 and Round 17 will be no exception, with the tight battle for second heating up and a top-of-the-table clash among the action.
Match of the Round: Bankstown United FC vs Fraser Park FC
Saturday, 30 May 2026 – 5pm, Padstow Park
Bankstown United FC will hope to keep in touch with the mid-pack of the ladder when they host a side hopeful of promotion this season in Fraser Park FC.
12th-placed Bankstown have lost back-to-back matches but will be hopeful of turning their form around, having beaten Fraser Park at home in the 2025 season, but will have to turn up their uptake in goals scored with only 18 scored this season.
3rd-placed Fraser Park, meanwhile, will come into this match off the back of their highly-anticipated Australia Cup Round 7 clash with NPL giants Sydney Olympic FC, looking to reach the national stage for the first time – a win against Bankstown, meanwhile, could see them rise into 2nd, while a loss could drop them to 5th.
With Bankstown looking to get back in contention and Fraser Park hoping to cap off what they hope will be a big week for them, both sides will come into this match with plenty of motivation.
Nepean FC vs Inner West Hawks FC
Friday, 29 May 2026 – 8pm, Jamison Park
5th-placed Nepean FC will be hunting a third-straight win and having beaten strong sides around them on the ladder, will be hopeful of completing the league double over the Hawks to potentially see them rise to as high as 3rd on the ladder; a loss, meanwhile, could drop them to as low as 9th.
10th-placed Inner West Hawks FC, meanwhile, ended their four-match losing streak with a win over Bankstown United FC last week and will hope to go a third match unbeaten head-to-head against Nepean, looking to build on their first clean sheet since Round 10 and their third clean sheet of the season.

Saturday, 30 May 2026 – 4pm, Sir Ian McLennan Oval
6th-placed South Coast Flame FC will hope to snap a three-match winless streak to keep themselves among the chasing sides this season, hoping to continue their home strong form with only one loss at home this season; a win could see them rise to as high as 3rd, while a loss could see them drop to as low as 10th.

13th-placed Gladesville Ryde Magic will also hope to build off back-to-back wins as well as their first clean sheet of the season, the Magic hoping to build defensive resilience; a win for the Magic could take them up to 11th, while a loss could see them drop to 14th.
Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC vs Mounties Wanderers FC

2nd-placed Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC will hope to get revenge over Mounties Wanderers FC, both sides hoping to earn their spot back in the League One Men’s competition for 2027; a win for Bonnyrigg would see them cement their spot in 2nd further and reduce the gap to 1st to 11 points.
League-leading Mounties Wanderers, meanwhile, will hope to complete the league double over Mounties and extend their lead atop the ladder to as much as 17 points as they look to continue their dominance, having lost only one match this season; the league’s top goal scorer this season, Patrick Antelmi, will also hope to add to his 15 goals.
Camden Tigers FC vs Central Coast United FC
Saturday, 30 May 2026 – 7pm, Ron Dine Memorial Reserve
Last-placed Camden Tigers FC will hope to snap their eight-match winless run against a side they beat 4-0 at home last season in Central Coast United FC; expect Camden to put up a fight against the Pirates to close the gap to them to five points on the ladder.
14th-placed Central Coast United, meanwhile, are unbeaten in four matches and will hope to continue that streak against the Tigers; a win for the Pirates could see them rise one spot to 13th on the ladder.
